BACKGROUND

Ferenc Jolesz received his MD and training in Neurosurgery in Budapest, Hungary before moving to the US in 1979. While at Harvard, he completed research fellowships in Neurology at MGH and in Physiology at Harvard Medical School, and residency in Radiology at BWH where he joined the staff as a neuroradiologist. He is Director of the Division of MRI and Director of the Image Guided Therapy Program at BWH, Director of the National Center for Image Guided Therapy, and Professor of Radiology at Harvard Medical School. He has been the author of more than 300 peer reviewed articles and several books and book chapters.
