CIMIT Summer Education Series 2010: Emerging Technologies and Applications for Therapeutic Delivery of Drugs and Molecules
CIMIT hosts a four-week Education Series during the month of July which focuses on building an understanding of a new, emerging clinical or technical area. This year, for the 2010 CIMIT Summer Education Series, the topic was novel methods of drug delivery and drug/device combination therapy. Expert scientists, engineers, and clinical leaders who are developing new technologies and translating them into clinical solutions lectured weekly. The goal was to link current and evolving technologies with unmet clinical needs.
