CIMIT Accepting Applications for Three Grant Programs

Three CIMIT grant programs will be taking applications through the spring. Researchers can apply for Career Development Grants, Working Group Grants and Clinical Fast Forward Grants, and applications are due June 1.

Applications will be accepted starting Monday, April 7, through CIMIT's web-based submission process. Award notification will be July 1.

The CIMIT Career Development Awards allow an individual with established expertise in one medical or technical area to acquire knowledge in a second area that will allow him or her to make unique subsequent interdisciplinary contributions.

Clinical Fast Forward Grants are designed to bring promising clinical experts from other sites (national or international) to CIMIT Consortium member institutions to pursue medical projects involving direct patient care.

Working Group Grants are awarded to inter-disciplinary and inter-institutional teams formed to explore emerging areas of new healthcare technology.
