BACKGROUND

Warren S. Sandberg, MD, PhD received his degrees from the Pritzker School of Medicine at the University of Chicago. After a residency in the Department of Anesthesia and Critical Care at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH), he continued to work in anesthesia, OR safety and innovation, and perioperative systems design at MGH. Now an an associate professor at Harvard Medical School, Dr. Sandberg is the Co-Project Leader of the CIMIT OR of the Future Project. He is also Director of OR Innovation, Technology and Analysis, and leads the liver transplantation anesthesia team.
